About the GCRC Milestone Center
The Graham County Rehabilitation Center (GCRC) is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their highest levels of independence and potential. It is GCRC's mission is to provide opportunities for each developmentally disabled individual to reach their full potential according to their unique abilities, becoming an integral part of home, family, and community, thereby giving purpose, meaning, and dignity to life. The Milestone Center acomplishes this mission through a comprehensive range of services—including employment training, residential support, day programs, and community integration activities. Through the Milestone Center GCRC promotes personal growth, community involvement, and an enhanced quality of life for its participants.
All staff working throught the Milestone Center have earned certification as an Autism Specialist, thus meeting the requirements for the Milestone Center to be an Autism Certified Center. As an Autism Certified Center, the Milestone Center adheres to the highest standards of autism support, ensuring that programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals on the autism spectrum.
